About Tour

South of the capital city of Reykjavik lays a coast full of mystical natural features and exciting and spine-chilling activities. You are invited to join this expedition to the South Coast with an opportunity to hike the Sólheimajökull glacier. The tour includes numerous stops at the most picturesque spots – Seljalandsfoss waterfall, majestic Skogafoss, and Reynisfjara beach (also known as the Black Sand Beach) where you get to see the waves of Atlantic Ocean. Your adventure begins when the guide picks you up in a comfortable minibus in the morning and whisks you off the scenic South Coast.

The Four Stop Tour

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

The first stop in this tour is the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This waterfall allows you to walk behind and get a unique point of view while feeling the vibrations of the water hitting the ground. This is an Instagram worthy site. Next to it is Gljufrabui, a smaller waterfall that is hidden in a narrow gorge that is accessible only by walking through the small stones in the river.

Skogafoss Waterfall

Skogafoss is the pearl of the South Coast. It pours down from the height of 60 meters, from the cliff of East Eyjafjoll Mountains, making it one of the most photogenic waterfalls in the country. With time, the waterfall has carved itself into the mountain, tucking the waterfall into a small gorge. The often sights of rainbow give your picturesque moment. Along the waterfall, lays a staircase up to the cliff with views looking down into the gorge and onto the waterfall. It has 527 steps up to the top, providing a warm-up for the glacier hike.
